Terms of use

Last updated: 23 April 2026.

Using AiEng

AiEng is an open marketplace that connects independent small-and-medium businesses with buyers. By creating an account you agree to keep your login credentials private, to provide accurate information, and not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

Orders and payment

Orders placed through AiEng are contracts between the buyer and the merchant operating the storefront. Payment is made by electronic funds transfer using the bank details shown at checkout. AiEng is not a party to the sale but facilitates the exchange of order information and order-status tokens.

Merchant responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, honouring the prices shown at time of order, fulfilling orders in a reasonable time, and complying with all applicable consumer protection law in their country of operation (including, where applicable, the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008).

Content you post

You retain ownership of anything you post (storefront descriptions, product copy, images). By posting it you give AiEng a non-exclusive licence to display it on the marketplace.

Liability

AiEng is provided as-is. We do our best to keep the platform available and secure but we are not liable for indirect losses (loss of profit, loss of data) arising from its use.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the home page. Questions go to info@aieng.co.za.
