What we collect

When you register or place an order on AiEng we store the information you give us directly — your name, email address, delivery address, phone number, and payment-reference details. Merchants also supply company and store information that appears publicly on their storefront.

Why we collect it

We use personal information to run your account, fulfil orders, send transactional email (order confirmations, password resets), and keep the marketplace safe from fraud and abuse. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Cookies and sessions

AiEng uses a single session cookie (PHPSESSID) to keep you signed in. The cookie is marked Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite=Lax. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights (POPIA)

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (4 of 2013) you can request access to your data, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete your account. Email info@aieng.co.za and we will respond within 30 days.
